The event begins at 4:00PM with pumpkin carving for the kids at the Athens Volunteer Fire Department. Pizza and refreshments follow at 5:00PM. The parade from Chatham Street down Second Street concludes at the Riverfront Park with a pumpkin display.

Athens Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
